CDCFIB Announces Next Stage of 2024/2025 Recruitment Exercise

Abuja, June 13, 2026— The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board, CDCFIB, has announced the commencement of the next phase of its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise. Applicants who sat for the Computer-Based Test, CBT, in November 2025 have been directed to verify their application status online.

In a statement signed by the Secretary to the Board, retired Major General A.M. Jibril, the Board said the next stage will involve physical screening and document verification for shortlisted candidates.

According to the statement, applicants should visit the official recruitment portal between June 15 and June 20, 2026, to check if they have been shortlisted. Candidates are to log in using the application number generated during initial registration. Those successfully shortlisted will be required to upload their credentials and select a preferred date and venue for physical screening.

CDCFIB urged applicants to follow all instructions on the portal carefully to avoid disqualification or delays.

The Board reiterated that the recruitment process is completely free of charge. It warned applicants against making payments to individuals, agents, groups, or organisations claiming they can influence shortlisting, venue allocation, document uploads, access to screening centres, or final selection.

The public was also advised to disregard fake recruitment messages, fraudulent websites, and unauthorised persons claiming to represent the Board. CDCFIB said all official information on the exercise will be communicated exclusively through its recruitment portal and other approved channels.

The Board reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent, credible, and merit-based recruitment process in line with federal guidelines.

The announcement was issued on June 13, 2026, from the CDCFIB headquarters in Abuja.
