Faruk Lawal Yahaya Gumau Picks ADC Nomination Form for Toro Federal Constituency Race

BAUCHI, Nigeria — Faruk Lawal Yahaya Gumau, son of the late Senator Lawal Gumau, has officially obtained the African Democratic Congress (ADC) nomination form to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Toro Federal Constituency in the 2027 elections.

Photos from the event show Gumau receiving the party’s nomination forms alongside party officials and supporters, marking the formal start of his political campaign under the ADC platform.

Political observers say Faruk’s emergence is drawing attention in Bauchi political circles due to his family’s long-standing influence and the legacy of his late father, who represented Bauchi South Senatorial District before his death.

Analysts note that early political activities and grassroots consultations are already shaping discussions in Toro Federal Constituency as preparations for the 2027 general elections intensify.
