ESG Association Appoints Dr. Uche Diala as Director General

 

ABUJA, Nigeria— The Board of Trustees of the El-Rufai Support Group (ESG) Association has announced the appointment of Dr. Uche Diala as the new Director General of the organization.

In an official statement on Wednesday, the Board described Dr. Diala as a distinguished optometrist, accomplished political actor, strategic community organizer, and committed patriot whose contributions to nation-building and leadership development have earned him wide recognition across Nigeria and beyond.

As Director General, Dr. Diala will oversee the day-to-day operations of the ESG Association and coordinate its global activities. His mandate includes leading organizational expansion, stakeholder engagement, membership mobilization, and advocacy efforts in support of the progressive leadership vision and democratic ideals associated with Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.

The Board expressed “absolute confidence” in Dr. Diala’s capacity and experience to reposition the ESG Association into a more vibrant and impactful platform for civic engagement and political participation.

It also called on all members, coordinators, stakeholders, volunteers, partners, and supporters across Nigeria and the diaspora to extend full cooperation to the new Director General as he assumes office.

The Board congratulated Dr. Diala on the appointment and wished him wisdom, strength, and success in service to both the Association and the nation.
