El-Rufai Camp Urges Nigerian Youth to Prioritise Integrity in Leadership Choices Ahead of 2027

 

ABUJA, Nigeria— The El-Rufai Camp has called on Nigerian youths, particularly members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Youth wing, to make deliberate and principled choices in selecting leaders ahead of the 2027 general election.

In a statement titled _“The Bridge to the Future: A Call to Nigerian Youths and ADC Youth,”_ released on May 3, 2026, and attributed to Ibrahim Modibo Sanusi – El-Rufai Live, the group urged young citizens to reject transactional politics and demand accountability, transparency, and results-driven governance.

The statement described leadership as a continuous service rather than an event ending at election victory. It stressed that the future of the country depends on leaders who prioritize honesty, competence, and public good over personal gain.

“Anyone who enters leadership with the mindset of using taxpayers’ money for personal gain has no business being at the forefront of governance,” the statement read.

The group said it stands for the type of principled leadership it associates with Mallam Nasir El-Rufai and encouraged youths to support candidates prepared to serve with integrity and deliver lasting progress.

“The bridge to a better Nigeria is in our hands. Let us choose wisely, work diligently, and remain committed to the ideals that will truly transform our nation,” it said.

The statement concluded with the slogans: “The Movement is Rising. The Future Belongs to the Youth.”
