ADC Lawmaker Dan Majen Yabo Receives Endorsement, Constituents Fund Nomination Form for 2027 Re-election Bid

YABO, Sokoto State — A member of the House of Representatives representing Yabo/Shagari Federal Constituency, Dan Majen Yabo, has received an endorsement for his 2027 re-election bid from constituents in Yabo and Shagari Local Government Areas.

During a gathering in Yabo Local Government Area on Monday, residents presented a cash cheque to the lawmaker to purchase his nomination form to contest under the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Dan Majen Yabo said the gesture was “deeply humbling and highly appreciated,” describing it as a reflection of the trust constituents have placed in his leadership.

“This gesture is not only a reflection of the trust reposed in our leadership, but also a strong encouragement to remain committed to the ideals of quality representation, inclusiveness, and service to humanity,” he said.

He thanked the people of Yabo and Shagari for their support and prayers, and pledged to continue serving with “sincerity, justice, and accountability.”

Speaking in Hausa, the lawmaker reiterated the same message, saying the endorsement and financial support were a source of pride and motivation to continue delivering quality representation, fairness, and service to the constituency.

“Da ikon Allah Maɗaukakin Sarki (SWA), zan cigaba da gudanar da ayyukan waƙilci cikin gaskiya, riƙon amana da adalci,” he stated.

The ADC has seen increased political activity across several states ahead of the 2027 general elections, with aspirants at both federal and state levels declaring interest under the party’s platform.
