ADC Flags Fake 2027 Nomination Forms, Warns Against Scammers

ABUJA— The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has alerted the public to the circulation of fraudulent nomination forms and unauthorized messages purportedly linked to the 2027 general elections.

In a statement signed by National Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi, the party said only the National Organising Secretary is authorized to sell forms for presidential, governorship, senatorial, and House of Representatives positions.

The ADC added that forms for State House of Assembly seats are sold exclusively at state party headquarters.

“Any other person or platform selling forms is fake,” the statement said.

The party also dismissed a viral video claiming that National Chairman Senator David Mark had authorized sales through unofficial channels, describing it as fraudulent.

The ADC said it would take action against impersonators and urged members and prospective aspirants not to fall victim to the scam.

The warning comes ahead of the official commencement of activities for the 2027 elections. Political parties in Nigeria have previously reported similar incidents of fraud involving fake nomination materials targeting aspirants.
