Female Entrepreneurs Get Boost as 2026 Mentorship Applications Begin


 Women Entrepreneurs Invited to Apply for 2026 Mentorship Programme

The Murtala Muhammed Foundation (MMF), in collaboration with the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, has announced the opening of applications for the 2026 Women’s Mentorship Programme (May intake), aimed at supporting female entrepreneurs and social enterprise leaders.

According to a statement released by the foundation, the initiative is designed to equip women with the skills, guidance, and networks needed to grow their businesses sustainably and confidently.

The programme will provide participants with one-on-one mentorship from experienced business professionals, alongside a structured and personalized learning experience. Beneficiaries will also gain access to global networks, business opportunities, and ongoing career support.

To be eligible, applicants must be women currently running a business or social enterprise for at least five months, possess intermediate-level English proficiency, and be able to commit to regular engagement with a mentor. Participants are expected to dedicate a minimum of two hours monthly to virtual mentorship sessions, as well as maintain weekly communication.

The foundation stated that applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, urging interested candidates to apply early due to limited available slots.

The application deadline is April 31, 2026.

The programme forms part of ongoing efforts by both organizations to empower women economically and enhance their leadership capacity in business and social development sectors.
