AN INVITATION LETTER TO FORMER PRESIDENT OLUSEGUN OBASANJO ON WHY YOU SHOULD EMBRACE ISLAM BEFORE YOU DIE :-

Your Excellency , former President Olusegun Obasanjo, my heart was greatly touched and motivated to forward this open letter of invitation (to embrace Islam) before your executive high table after perusing through the excellent interview you recently had which is presently in circulation .

In that interview , you speculated about the inevitable approach of your death after witnessing some of the signs of its impending coming as well as.the feelings of the consciousness of your body languages.

It can be said without any fear of contradiction that you were naturally given the signal of the timely approach of your dead not only through your ages of 88 years ,but also through some divine spiritual and mystical communications in your body languages .

In this critical situations of your life , it is expedient for me to seriously advise you that you should not allow yourself to vacate from this world without accepting Islam as your religion , you should not die without becoming a muslim , you should not allow your dead body to enter the grave without embracing Islam for the following reasons:-

(1) Islam is the only divine acceptable religion before the Almighty God . And whosoever died without accepting Islam has wasted his life for nothing and he will eventually spend his eternity in the inextinguishable hell fire in the hereafter as mentioned in Chapter 3 verse 85 of the Holy Qur'an 

(2) All the Biblical Prophets of God including Abraham ,Moses , Jesus Christ and Prophet Muhammad (peace be on them all) were Muslims and their religion was Islam .

Christianity is never the religion of any Prophet sent by God , and that is why you cannot find it written in the bible in any verse .

(3) Islam is the religion of total submission and obedience to the authority of only one true God that has no equal or partner associated with Him in His dominion.

Its literal meaning is peace ,and its technical meaning is obedience and surrendering to God's divine authority and acknowledging Him as the only true God in control of the Universe .

(4) Jesus Christ had expressed and acknowledged the Oneness or divine Unity of God in Mark 12 verse 29 of the bible where he said that "the Lord our God is only One". And in John 17 verse 3 , Jesus said that the only means of obtaining eternal life is to accept God as the only true God and accepting Jesus as the Messenger of God.

All the Prophets of God believed in the Unity or Oneness of God , and that is the foundation or bedrock of Islam .

The Muslims believed in Jesus as a Prophet of God ,just as they believed in all Prophets of God like Abraham and others.. Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him) was the last Prophet of God sent to the world after Jesus .

(5) Your Excellency , Islam entails the beliefs in only one true God , belief in all His prophets including Jesus Christ , belief in Angels , belief in the reality of the hereafter, belief in the divine Scriptures sent by God , like the book of Moses , the original gospel of Jesus , the book of David and other revelations of God , and finally the Glorious Qur'an which is the last testament of God to mankind . The belief in the reality of the herafter , hell fire and paradise and the belief in predestination . These are called the articles of faith in Islam .

(6) The five pillars of Islam are as follows :-

To believe in the Unity of God without ascribing any partner to Him in anything .

And accept Prophet Muhammad as the final Messenger of God that came after Jesus Christ . Jesus spoke about the coming of prophet Muhammad (Peace be on him) in several verses of the bible such as John 16 v 12-14, John 14 v 16 etc Also , Moses spoke about Prophet Muhammad in Deuteronomy 18 v 15 and Deuteronomy 18 v 18 respectfully.

To observe the five daily prayers as taught by the final prophet Muhammad (peace be on him)

To give out Zakat which is the major charity out of the wealth God has entrusted to you .

This should be given to the poor,destitutes, widows and other needy persons in order to alleviate their sufferings .

To observe fasting in the month of Ramadan for 29 or 30 days depending on the sighting of the crescent .

To go on pilgrimage to the Holy Land if you have the financial capability and good health to do so . These are the foundations or pillars of Islam .

(7) Your Excellency , in Islam , we do not believe Jesus Christ as God , because he is not God and Jesus has never been God at any given time .

In Matthew 21 verse 46 , Matthew 21 v 10-11, Luke 13 v 33, Luke 24 v 19, Mark 6 v 4 , John 9 v 17 , John 4 v 19, John 6 v 14 and Luke 7 v 16 , the bible calls Jesus a Prophet of God .

How then could someone who was addressed as the Prophet of God be God ? Even the Glorious Qur'an calls Jesus a Prophet of God in Surah 19 v 33.

(8) Your Excellency, Obasanjo , in John 5 verse 30 and John 5 v 19 , Jesus had comfirmed he could not performed any miracle or do anything without the permission and support of God .

This means that all the miracles Jesus did were given to Him by God , as Peter also mentioned in Acts of the Apostles 2 v 22 of the bible .

How then could Jesus be God if he has to depend on another source of power before performing his miracles ?

(9) Your Excellency , In Mark 13 v 32 of the Bible , Jesus had willingly confessed that he did not know when the world will end , and the Angels do not also know but only God knows .

How then could he be God when he lacks the knowledge of the hour ?

There are thousands of scriptural, historical and rational reasons on why no sensible human beings wil ever accept Jesus as God after reading and understanding the bible .

(10) Your Excellency , Islam also teaches that the everlasting God has no son or daughter or any partner in his divine authority .

Only human beings and other worldly creatures have sons and daughters . Jesus Christ was created by God in the womb of Mary without any father ,Adam was created by God from ordinary clay or sand without any parents , Eve , the wife of Adam was created by God from the dry ribs of Adam without any Mother , the Angels of God were created by God from lights with no parents , all other first living things were created by God without parents in a supernatural way .

(11) Therefore,the miraculous creation of Jesus Christ without any physical father, from the virgin Mary is one of the milliions of wonders of God , because the bible says all things are possible with God in Matthew 19 v 26.

The Almighty God does not has any son or daughter . Jesus is the servant of God according to Matthew 12 v 18, John 13 v 16 . See also Acts 3 v 13 , Acts 3 v 26, Acts 4 v 27 and Acts 4 v 30 in the following versions of the bible such as Revised Standard Version. New Internatiinal Version , New World Translation, New King James Version. Gideon Bible and New American Bible etc

All the above bibles called Jesus the Servant of God . Jesus is also addressed as the Son of Man in almost hundred verses in the bible .

There are also many other biblical persons that the bible addressed as sons of God apart from Jesus in both the old and new testaments , does that literally mean that they were the actual sons of God ?

No . How then could Jesus be the only Son of God ?

(12) Your Excellency, in conclusion ,I honourably invite you and your families to Islam before you go to the life beyond or before the Angel of death visit you to receive your life .

To die without accepting Islam or without believing in Prophet Muhammad on whom be peace is the most unfortunate thing . It is the greatest lost of life.

This is because spending eternity in hell fire is one of the consequences of a man who died without embracing Islam .

There is no repentence in the grave after death .

Christianity was never the religion of any prophets of God .

God has never sent any religion by name Christianity ,that is why you cannot find it in the bible .

Sunday's worship is not in the bible , dancing and singing in the Churches are not parts of the teachings of Jesus.

To worship God , is to bow down and prostrate before him ,and also obey His rules . That is the way all Prophets worship God .

Jesus worship God by falling on his face to the ground in Matthew 26 v 39 ,

Abraham fell on his face on the ground to worship God in Genesis 17 v 3 ,

Moses and Aaron fell on their faces to the ground and worship God in Numbers 20 v 6,

David also worship God with his face to the ground alone with his people in Psalm 96 v 5 ,.

Ezrah the high priest and all the congregations stood , bow down and prostrated with their faces to the ground to worship God as written in Nehemiah 8 v 4-6 ,

the Angels of God also fell down and worship God with their faces to the ground as written in Revelation 11 v 16 of the bible etc .

That is how the Muslims all over the world fell down on their faces to worship God every day of their lives after the perfection of Islam as ordained by God .

In a nutshell , Your Excellency, you may wish to voluntarily embrace or accept Islam by saying the followings words of testimony before you and God .

ASH HADU AN LA ILAHA ILLALLAH WAHADAHU LA SHARIKA LAHU .

WA ASH HADU ANNA MUHAMMADU AB'DUHU WARA SULUHU"

The meaning of the above arabic words is . I SOLEMNLY TESTIFY THAT THERE IS NO ANY god WHO DESERVED TO BE WORSHIPPED EXCEPT ONLY ONE GOD (ALLAH) AND HE HAS NO ANY PARTNER .

AND I TESTIFY THAT MUHAMMAD IS A SERVANT AND MESSENGER OF GOD.

If you intentionally and voluntarily utter such testimony , then you are free to either retain your name or change your name ,it does not affect your belief provided the names do not violate the sanctity of Allah or Islam .

You then have your ritual bath by washing all your body parts .

Then you continue your worships in the company of Muslims .

May Allah guide all of us and forgive us our sins .
